Do you know Rakugo artist Entaka Tachibana?
This time, I would like to talk about the time.
I haven't seen it at all, but NHK's Taiga drama series called "Idaten" is airing. "Kokintei Shinsei" (played by Beat Takeshi), who plays a role as a navigator, has appeared, but this teacher is "4th generation Entaka Tachibana". I don't think there are few people who know the name. Since this teacher was located at the Genji store (Sumiyoshicho), which was located at the site of former Yoshihara, he was said to be "the teacher of Genji store" or "the teacher of Sumiyoshicho". It seems that Suzuki Matsuo of the theater company adult plan plays in Taiga drama series, but I feel a little different from that of Master Entaka in the photo. (I haven't seen the drama at all, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong.)
It was the first disciple of the first Encho, and it was said that eventually ...
As can be seen from the genealogy of the first rakugo artist Sanyutei Encho, who was active from the late Edo period (late Tokugawa shogunate) to the Meiji era, Master Entaka was the first disciple. The fourth generation of Entaka Tachibana, who lived in the first year of Keio (1865) and the first year of Daisho (1912), was a disciple of the first Encho and was said to be the same as Encho. It is said that the skill of speaking skills surpassed the teacher Endynasty.
"The Encho was Masamune who sharpened, the second generation Enma (the brother of Entaka) was Masamune who did not sharpen, and Entaka was Muramasa."
Ensei analyzes, "The Encho was a natural dignity and a land, but Entaka dressed it." I couldn't open my heart, and I was able to get help from the people and I couldn't do it.
What comes to mind at Tachibanaya is "Tachibanaya Enzo", famous for Setsuko in Uchi. This teacher was said to be the teacher of Hirai in Edogawa-ku. Sumiyoshicho, Taninaka, Hirai and Shimomachi are perfect for "Rakugo Masters". It's not a pinch in Okinawa or Hokkaido.
