Tsukiji Honganji Hoon Lecture-Thank you
From November 11th to 16th, Buddhist memorial service is run at Tsukiji Honganji Temple. It is Buddhist memorial service of the anniversary of the death of Shinran Saint, the founder of the Jodo Shinshu sect. Shinran saints, who survived the endless era of conflict and hunger, sought a way for all people to be saved and opened a way for everyone to receive Amida Buddha's salvation.
A variety of offerings are displayed in front of main deity and Shinran Saints, making it even more gorgeous. All of us, who live today, can participate in the Buddhist memorial service, who is in touch with the teachings of the Buddha and thank you for being guided by Shinran Saints and other ancestors. I visited during the day, but the bell rang, the gagaku was played, and Buddhist memorial service began. There were a lot of people in main hall, and the time was flowing.
In the garden, there were panel photos of disaster-stricken areas such as Typhoon Nos. 15 and 19, and tents for support product exhibitions.
