 ~Hair Salon ONO~

The rosemary sea is a show-up of "Gift and Enjoy yourself".

Hair Salon ONO Group is developing hair salons that extend to Tokyo, Osaka and overseas, mainly in Nihonbashi, as "Hair Salon ONO".

In Nihonbashi, there is a Tsuyadashi specialty store and a iki Nihonbashi main store.

Here is an interview with Etsuji Ono, Representative of the Hair Salon Ono Group.

This is the first part.

Then...

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

When I was 15 years old, I decided to take over the traces of my father's work.

My father died when I was 34 years old, and in fact I inherited the trace.

I've been doing it for 37 years since I took over, and since 1985.

Chairman of the National Association of Lecturers, I did it for the ninth term. It's for two generations.

Do you know the difference between a barber shop and a barber shop, isn't it the same? That's right.

That's a different history.

What's the difference? Yeah.

I can't say that in a word, but he told me at a seminar hosted by that person.

The difference between barber shop and barber shop was that the barber shop was a Western surgeon, a barber surgeon.

So, of course, if you don't have a very high level of insight into hygiene, it's the concept of hygiene that will spread in Japan.

He taught his way of thinking about disinfection to barbers and those who are aiming for barbershops in the future, and told barbers about the difference in barbershops, barbers are different from barbershops.

I have to keep the hygiene in this way.

The person who had been doing hairdressing since BC did not suddenly become a hairdresser, but also learned the hygiene philosophy while learning the work of hairdressing, so it changed little by little from the barber shop, or from the beginning There is a big difference in learning in Yokohama, learning hygiene philosophy, and gradually changing from the person who was doing it.

Born in Ota-ku.

At the age of 15, when I entered Keio High School, Furukawa Building was at that time (the place where Cored Muromachi 2 is built now) where the main office of Nihonbashi was in, it disappeared around 1977, but my father opened the store and made a pretty good store.

Then the Furukawa Building will build the Furukawa Building in Osaka.

It's a real estate agent called Furukawa Fudosan, Furukawa Kogyo, Ichibee Furukawa.

The Furukawa Building is going to Osaka, so my father told me that he wanted him to open a store in Osaka.

At that time, the Shinkansen wasn't moving.

Of these, there were only Kamata and Nihonbashi at that time, but do you open a store in Osaka? No matter how you think about it.

My father was told, so I was worried about it.

I was going to say that I'm going to go out, but of course I'm against the bag, not a joke.

What do you do when you open the store in such a place?

I don't run the bullet train, even if I go by express door-to-door, it takes 8 or 9 hours, the fastest one from Tokyo.

That's why the bag was against it.

I was pulled out and I was going to see Osaka, where I planned Osaka.

I wasn't told you in detail, but stay at the Grand Hotel in Osaka.

There's a bridge called Watanabebashi that connects Osaka and Nakanoshima Island, and there's a Grand Hotel, right now it's Liga Royal.

For about 2 nights, please give me a meal.

I was riding the limited express Kodama at that time, isn't it the best, or I've never got a limited express, so I thought I'd try it.

・・Well, it's marketing.

Then my father let me eat shabu-shabu for the first time, and stay at a hotel.

I'm having the best experience for me.

Finally, I was told to put it out here, but my father asked me what you think.

I can't oppose it because it's a treat.

That's why I told you that I should do it.

Then my father got angry like a fire.

I'm not calling you here to hear such an answer, why I'm going to take over the trace, so I don't say I'll do it with my father.

Even if I said that, I was in trouble and I was in trouble, but I thought, at that time.

Why do you want to open a shop with only two stores in Tokyo, in Osaka?

My father wanted to be the best barber shop in Japan. I want to be. I felt the romance of my father.

That's why I thought I would go to the best barber shop in Japan, and I'll take on the trace.

・・I started with that kind of thing.

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

Then I went to Keio High School, went to training barber skills while going, got a diploma when I was in college, and when I graduated from university, Seibu's Seiji Tsutsumi was a customer, but I've already died.

Mr. Seiji, Mr. Ohno, we are going to make a full-fledged department store in Shizuoka this time, but for Shizuoka people, even if they say anything, all the rich people in Shizuoka come to Tokyo to buy, Mitsukoshi.

I want to keep the rich man in Shizuoka.

On Saturdays and Sundays, it will disappear, so I will prepare a lot of full-scale service shops in Tokyo like Mr. Ono, so I was told that Mr. Ono would join in the barber.

No matter what you say, Shizuoka is a rural area.

2 stores in Tokyo and 1 store in Osaka, a total of 3 stores. It's the fourth store. Will you send it to Shizuoka for the fourth store? I'm going to have two stores in Osaka.

And my father told me if you would make a company.

I'm independent, I'm in college, 22 years old.

Then I'm going to put a company in Shizuoka of Seibu Department Store.

I made a company called O (O) and made it in Shizuoka, I was the first store manager.

At the age of 22, the store manager has not yet been broken in the history of Ono.

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

・・・ I worked hard with Seibu, but there is no shop right now, Seibu has been crushed, but before that, Shizuoka in Tokyo and Osaka is quite difficult. So, even in terms of education (staff) education and various aspects.

So to be honest, I didn't want to stop because I was an independent company, but my manager, an experienced person, told me that I wanted to do after Shizuoka, so I left Seibu in Shizuoka and opened a store nearby, and divided all the customers into that area, and we withdrew.

Before that, there was already a store in Aoyama, a store in Miyako Hotel, and the next store in Osaka.

Shizuoka is inconvenient, I'm going from here.

To be honest, Shizuoka was away, and I myself became easier.

(Until then) On New Year's Eve, I always went to Shizuoka after Nihonbashi ended.

After this launch, I greeted the department store (in Shizuoka), launched the staff, and then came back at the end of the Shinkansen, and did it for 10 years every year.

It's a little easier for me to leave my hand.

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

In the meantime, after my father's death, I made a vision for the 21st century of the barber industry, which will be the center of education, trained nationwide, chewed so that the barber industry could understand, and the future barber industry I went around the country with the chief to think this way and change this way.

I go to one prefecture more than four times in prefectures. I went to a workshop every month.

If there is a branch in the prefecture, the northern, central and southern branches, you have to go each one.

I made that way of thinking about things, what the industry of barber industry should be in the future and what should be.

So, what kind of things do you feel value, what you can do to feel value, and you shouldn't do shampoo or face shaving at the level that customers can do on their own.

I went around saying that I had to do something that I was professional.

In changing to the Barber Law and the Beautician Law, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare had attended a law revision meeting as one of the experts.

There is a barber hairdresser Curriculum Review Committee, how should the barber hairdresser's school create a curriculum, and what should be done for barber hairdressers in the future in the 21st century style?

The value of a barber hairdresser is that customers are becoming more and more specialized, and the required level is much higher, whether it's hair color, perm, or face shaving.

It's good that I had a beard before, but it's not just a mustache.

I want you to do your face more carefully, or if you can do a pack, please do it.

Old people don't learn such things, so they can't teach them.

That's why I need a class that teaches more in detail and professionally at school.

You can study on your own, but young children are quite different depending on the store.

Everyone must prepare an environment to become a 21st century barber.

I'm consistent with what 21st century barbers should be, cutting hair, washing hair, shaving face, set, and more skills and knowledge are needed about what customers, value, and how they feel.

To do so, it's like this.

Then, because it becomes an information society, it is not just cut from now on, but also the way of thinking of networks and computer classes must have such skills.

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

In the care of facial shaving, you must have such specialized knowledge, such as the flow of lymph.

You have to polish your nails too.

The possibility of polishing is required, so it must be a barber business that can respond to it.

That's why customers support shops that think about leaving only this for themselves.

I have to make a story with myself.

When I don't know what "male polishing", I built a "sleeping club" store, but when the economy worsened in Osaka and when the information society progressed, the number of people who became stressed, This is a time when businessmen are difficult.

Let's create an environment so that you can sleep well with haircuts.

Sir, please go to bed when you come to our house.

Let's make a pleasant sleep course or a dreamy course.

It's an environment where there are relatively many businessmen in our customers, there are rich conditions.

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

I'm calling Katmai's.

Katmai's is for customers, and private rooms are for Katmai's. It will be a shop with that person's specifications.

Don't care about the eyes of the customers around you or make sure your boss doesn't come next to you when cutting.

That's why we make it a private room and make it an "information industry".

Mr. Hideo Itokawa, there was a seminar on the authority of future engineering and space engineering, and we talked to barber business all the time, but `` The barber industry is in the information industry as long as the future is in the information industry. "

It's not a raw industry to cut it.

After all, it was said that the "heart" and "heart of emotion", and of course outsider background, how much the 0 minds can be close to it is the future of barber business.
