Part 2 of Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ono Group
 ~Hair Salon ONO~

It is rosemary sea, which covers "gifts and enjoy yourself" according to globalism.

Hair Salon ONO Group is developing hair salons that extend to Tokyo, Osaka and overseas, mainly in Nihonbashi, as "Hair Salon ONO".

In Nihonbashi, there is a Tsuyadashi specialty store and a iki Nihonbashi main store.

We interviewed Etsuji Ono, representative of the Hair Salon Ono Group.

On November 30th, we performed the first part, but this is the second part.

Then...

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

After all, it's not just a relaxing sleep club, but also a relaxing effect of about 1 to 2 hours sleeping at night for 10 minutes in the daytime, and it has the same recovery effect as sleeping for physical strength and energy. That's why.

So, make a "sleep club" and sleep well.

For that purpose, we make chairs and environment reasonable and start, all the corners are rounded.

Lighting is also indirect lighting, and music is also relaxation.

The condition is that the fetus is in the stomach, which is a condition in which humans relax.

So make it dim, wrap it up, and give it moderate music and vibration.

And taking care of the face, it is truly dreamy and becomes a fetus.

You've been keeping that condition all the time.

When a monk zazen, the most "none" state is the state where the alpha wave comes out.

Let's create an environment in such a state, and create an environment where you can feel such a thing when you are haircut.

That's why I made a good sleep club.

This has been a quiz for TV shows.

The Hilton store in Osaka is from music to air, in short, the best antenna is the "five senses", except for taste.

It's related to sight, hearing, smell, touch, humidity and temperature, of course, touch, towel, etc.

That kind of feeling, smell, scent, etc.

I've been pursuing more and more about how much customers can relax with these five senses.

When it comes to that, it's not a normal room, so it's a private zone.

This was also quite a hot topic, and it appeared in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun.

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

At the beginning of relaxation, it was a store in Shizuoka.

I first made a private room in Shizuoka.

Actually, there was only one private zone that did not go that far, only one of nine units.

I came back from Osaka to Tokyo, refurbished Tokyo, converted it into three rooms and five other stores, and then Nihonbashi became all private rooms, and it is gradually evolving.

(The image is a "beard plate".)

The reason why I made a private room was that there was a French restaurant called "Alexander" in Western Europe where my father told me when I was 21 years old, and when I went there, there was a wonderful private room.

That store is fashionable in Asia or Africa (the taste).

In Japan, it will be "marble", it's natural over there.

Rather, it's a Buddha statue or a chair with a buffalo horn.

Also, it's amazing luxury to be decorated with bamboo and monk carvings, for each Asian taste and room, I'm impressed.

Oh, it's nice to have a private room from now on.

So I just opened a store in Seibu in Shizuoka, and I made a private room for the first time, but since I was 21 years old, it was around 1968.

So, in France, I signed a sister store agreement with Alexander, at a store near Champs-Elyse in Paris.

(The image is the shelf of "Shaving Mag".)

The idea of the shop's `` medical record '' is to talk with my father and listen to the customer's request and remember, but everyone can not remember, the customer's preference is `` Let's do this. "

I wish I could have all the technicians in charge, but as the number of customers who have nominated me increases, shampoos may have to be replaced with someone.

Then I can't remember all the person in charge of the change.

In order to qualify customers' requests, we need a "medical chart" that can add such requests.

I started with that, but the customer is very opposed, "You'll sit down with Bahn and do it quickly."

"I don't have to write that kind of thing every time," "I'm fine as before."

I couldn't do it as before, so I managed to reflect it in a chart, but "I don't want to say a name."

There were a lot of great people, so I wonder if I should listen again now.

At first, there was considerable resistance to the introduction of medical charts.

That's why I set up a "medical record person" and said, "I'm sorry, but I'm XX in charge of the medical record."

"If you don't mind, your name is fine, but can you confirm your preference?" I'm asking, "Is it okay to have hot water?"

I'd like to ask you all, "Do you have any wishes?" And then I'd like to know the name later.

You can see it by looking at clothes (names) or nicknames, if we can identify it.

In the meantime, the number of customers and people who understood it increased, and there were few places where they did medical records (other than hospitals).

But the introduction of (actual charts) was very difficult.

Started from the main store in Nihonbashi, and then started in Osaka and Shizuoka.

There's no other medical chart in 1970, in the barber business.

So, on the contrary, we don't have any problems with our customers.

(Before that) "I have a little different hair." I'm scared because some people get angry, customers.

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

That's why customers in Tokyo can handle it in the same way even if they go to a store in Osaka.

Now it's digitized, so it's quite easy.

My desk now knows who and who are doing what customers are doing.

However, in the past, there was no fax, so when a customer was transferred from Tokyo to Osaka, he would take a medical record to Osaka.

That's why I think customers felt that "If you go to Ono, it's safe."

When I started playing medical records, I started other places too.

But I don't do anything normally.

The reason is that it's okay to say, "Why do you hear that?", "I'm always coming, what's going to say now."

The technicians who do it are father and mother, aren't they?

It's strange that such a person doesn't remember.

In my case, if there are 10 or 10 staff members, I don't know who will be in charge.

Nevertheless, we must give a certain quality and a greater sense of satisfaction.

In order to relay satisfaction with baton relay, a medical chart system is essential.

When we were a store manager, we couldn't become a store manager unless we could do 4 or 5 or 4 or 5 customers at the same time.

Interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of Hair Salon Ohno Group - Hair Salon ONO

At the beginning of the company, there was also a women's barber shop. I was also cutting a woman.

Women's cut has been taught all over the country.

In the past, we were basically cutting, but a person named Robert Crag came from the United States, and we learned about the system of women's cutting, and I went around in Tohoku and Chiba prefectures, I cut like this.

You can basically cut a woman or a man with scissors and combs.

How do you cut the problem?

It's not the purpose of cutting, but what hair to leave and which hair to cut.

If you see such a system, you can cut a woman, a man, or a barber, you can do it accurately, the barber is accurate.

I don't feel like that at that time, but I remember that I cut it like this.

That's a bit different from the hairdresser.

Finally, about Nihonbashi...

Finally, about Nihonbashi: Part 2 of the interview with Etsuji Ohno, Representative of the Hair Salon Ono Group
 ~Hair Salon ONO~

I became the branch manager of the barber union, Nihonbashi Barber Association.

After that, the Nihonbashi district and the central district merged to become the branch manager of Chuo-ku.

At that time, the "Nihonbashi Regional Renaissance 100-Year Planning Committee" was established, and it would be better to agree and join as a union.

I've been in the General Assembly all the time, and I don't have any special help.

That's why I graduated from the branch chief and became a free position.

I said that joining the 100-year committee was because I was the head of the branch, so I will leave the branch and join as an Ono individual.

This time it's not the Nihonbashi branch, but the central branch.

Then, there are various subcommittees to enter, but I came with hope, Hey, there is such a subcommittee.

There are the “Tourism Subcommittee” and the “History and Culture Promotion Subcommittee”, and I seem to have more time than before, so the Tourism Subcommittee is good and the History and Culture Promotion Subcommittee is good. I put it out.

Then I became a member (both) committee member.

Here's the explanation
What is the “Nihonbashi Regional Renaissance 100-Year Planning Committee”?

The abbreviation is "Nihonbashi Renaissance Committee".

It was established in 1999 to propose the vision of economic, social and cultural regional revitalization for the next 100 years, specifically the revitalization of the Nihonbashi area and the revitalization of the Nihonbashi River, and to disseminate town planning measures for the 21st century.

The proposal includes the relocation of the Metropolitan Expressway from Nihonbashi Hashigami and Nihonbashi River.

My father also said, "There is a ridiculous highway over Nihonbashi."

My father was noisy about the festival in Kanda.

"The highway is on the bridge due to the rush of the Olympics."

I was thinking of "blue sky over Nihonbashi" anyway, so I wonder if there are any things I can help you.

Because it is doing business in this Chuo-ku, I want to contribute to Chuo-ku.

In that sense, I just entered, in May of last year.

However, as a former representative of the barber union, it will be something that has been continuously included.

・・・ Speaking of Nihonbashi, it's in the middle of Japan ...

I hope that people who work in Nihonbashi will be like that, such as Iki, Iase, and luster.

There are various types of "fashionable", but I think it is also necessary to give a good impression to the other person.

"Stylish" is self-satisfaction, but it's also important to have the other person feel like it.

The place where gentlemen are located is Nihonbashi, I want you to be like that.

Ginza, of course, is the same as Chuo-ku, but we have to show some features in Nihonbashi.

The fish shore is gone, and it's changing in various ways, but it's like people who are a bit particular come together.

I wish I could become such Nihonbashi.

・・Ohno, thank you very much.

Rosmari is also very pleased to see Ohno in the event coverage of the Nihonbashi Renaissance Committee in 2018.

Mr. Ohno, I wish you will continue to play an active role in Nihonbashi's “fashion” and for the town of Nihonbashi.
