You can rely on the waterside! Disaster prevention dock
On November 4th, the annual "Chuo-ku Marugoto Museum" was held. Many people may have moved around the city using free buses and ships. "Disaster prevention docks" in Hamacho and Akashicho were also used for departure and arrival of ships.
The “Disaster Prevention Pier” has been developed in Tokyo since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, as the effectiveness of river boating during a disaster attracted attention.
Due to the flourishing of sightseeing by boat such as water buses and houseboats, some docks are open to ordinary ships depending on the day and time.
The current disaster prevention docks in the city are limited to six places, so why not visit by waterside walk?
