In the unfortunate cloudy sky on December 17, there was a tour of the Nihonbashi River and the Sluice Gate Management Center for the members of the participating city's Nihonbashi River and Kamejima River Basin Liaison Committee. The tour on a boat was interesting, unlike the scenery you always see. I was very interested in learning about many people working for flood control. I also entered the Onagi River in Koto-ku and went to the Ogibashi Lock Gate. It was like a mini version of the Panama Canal, and it was very interesting to adjust the water depth at the sluice gate for the passage of the ship.
