Architecture in Chuo-ku (3): Yonei building
(2-8-20 Ginza, Chuo-ku) is a trading company for machinery in 1930 (1930).
It was built as the head office building of Yonei Shoten (currently Yonei Co., Ltd.).
Steel-framed reinforced concrete 6 floors above ground and 1 basement floor, design is Romanesque style in Middle Ages.
The band-shaped line extends vertically from the second floor, and the first floor is lined with large and small arch windows on the stone-covered outer wall.
The designer is Matsunosuke Moriyama.
In addition to work in Taiwan, such as the design of the former Taiwan Governor's Office, in Japan, the Katakura-kan (Suwa City) and the former Kunimiya residence.

The first floor facing Ginza Yanagi-dori St. is lined with large and small arch windows and twist pillars on a solid stone wall.
The veranda on the second floor is accented.
