Bonitozuka Festival
A festival of bonito mound was held at Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine in Tsukuda as usual. It is said that the festival will be held for the first time in three years.
In conjunction with the general meeting of the Tokyo Bonito-bushi Wholesale and Commerce Cooperative, a memorial service to thank the spirit of bonito and a prayer for bountiful catch has been held since 1953.
I visited Harumi's union office and learned that the Bonitozuka festival is scheduled, and I was most pleased that this festival will be held as usual.

Katsuozuka
There is a bonito mound at the end of the basin facing Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine shrine office. The cherry tree next to the bonito mound was cut down to the base before seeing this year's flowers, but it seems to be a measure to prevent the Tamagaki from collapsing.
As the cherry trees were cut down, the sun began to enter. Thanks to that, I think that more people have seen the stone pagoda and bonito mound at the western end of the precincts (next to the stage) from the front.
Calligraphy of Setsudo Yamazaki
"Katsuozuka" has a calligraphy and explanation by Setsudo Yamazaki, who is also the owner of the bonito wholesaler "Nakaya". It seems that the noren of a bonito merchant outside Tsukiji is also printed with a book by Mr. Yamazaki.
Many people may see Setsudo Yamazaki's book in Ningyocho. The calligraphy of the confectionery shop "Mihara Domoto" at the Suitengu-mae intersection is also written by Setsudo Yamazaki. Thank you for your understanding of the signboard image.
