[Ina Series No. 3] Ina Shrine (Tsukuba Mirai City)

In Chuo-ku, there is a sightseeing point called "Gundai Yashiki Ruins". Including Tadatsugu Ina, who was appointed as the deputy head by Ieyasu Tokugawa, the Ina clan was later called Kanto-gundai and inherited for twelve generations. On January 17, 2022, I wrote about the site of Ina's mansion in Ina Town, Saitama Prefecture, on the Ina family's Bodaiji Temple, Genchoji, a blog published on May 5, 2022, "Walking Ina's base for infrastructure development in Kanto."
This time, I visited Ina Shrine in Tsukuba Mirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Tadatsugu Ina and Tadaharu parent and child separated Kinugawa and Kokai River, which were heavily flooded, and turned the entire Tanihara territory into a rural area. Ina Shrine is located just upstream of the Fukuoka Weir, the Kokai River, which greatly contributed to the development of water in the region. It seems that cherry blossoms are beautiful in spring.
There is a "Yawara IC" on the Joban Expressway. Tsukuba Mirai City is a local government formed by the merger of former Ina Town and former Yawahara Village. Former Yawahara Village is a local government formed by the merger of former Fukuoka Village, former Towa Village, former Tanihara Village, and former Kokin Village. It's also interesting to chase the origin of the place name. It's a bit far from the railway station, so we recommend accessing by car.
