Minato is a city where the printing culture flourished.

When gas lights were lined up in Meiji period and Ginza, and a brick street was created, newspapers gathered there. In 1873, Tomiji Hirano established the Tsukiji Printing Works in Tokyo, where prints were born.

In Minato, there were many people who worked for a newspaper company in Ginza. When I learned printing techniques, I began to open a small printing shop using a room in my house.

At that time, the printing machine was a printing machine, a printing machine that chose one-letter type, and pressed the combined version on paper to print it. It's a craftsmanship that has been intuition for many years.

The St Luke Chapel of St. Luke International Hospital, located in Akashicho, is a landmark of the city for many years. Since 1868, Tsukiji foreign settlements have been set up in the area of Akashicho today.

With the completion of the bridge, Tsukuda's ferry, which retains the remnants of the Edo atmosphere, disappeared despite being regretted. At the base of Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, there is a stone monument at the site of the Tsukuda Island ferryboat.
