As shown in the image at the beginning, three white triangular roof tent booths are connected and lined up from the side of the stage on the left.

The first booth at the back left is Shimbashi. This is an introduction on the panel.

ーHistory of Shimbashi Bridge and Town

The place name "Shimbashi" comes from Shimbashi, a bridge over the Shiodome River in Edo Castle outer moat.

It was in 1604 that the starting point of the Tokaido was extended from Shiba to Nihonbashi.

At that time, "Shimbashi" was hung over the Shiodome River.

One of the main pillars (thick pillars standing at both ends of bridges, etc.) is still standing on the street of Shimbashi 1-chome.

"How far is Ginza? Let's go around Ginza! ④See ")

In 1872, the first railway in Japan opened between Shimbashi and Yokohama.

At that time, Shimbashi Station was located near the current Shiodome Station and opened as a starting station.

"Shimbashi" continues to maintain its liveliness consistently while changing with the times, and is still a vibrant city where many people come and go.

Here, we had a sample sale of rice crackers.

It is a rice cracker shop founded in Shiba-Aizaka in the first year of culture (1804).

The first year of Keio (1865) moved the store to Ginza and weighed spring and autumn for more than 200 years.

A special tile cracker made with plenty of eggs and baked with heart is a signboard product that has been loved over the years.

The main store moved from Ginza 5-chome to 4-chome in July of last year.

Opened a new store with an office with an eat-in space on the theme of rebuilding rice crackers and regional exchange.

The name of the shop was changed from "Ginza Matsuzaki Senbei" to "MATSUZAKI SHOTEN".

It is said that we will create new entertainment centered on rice crackers.

The Kyobashi 2-chome Nishimachi Association was established early after the war, and in 1954, commemorating the 5th anniversary of the town council in the year of the Hie-jinja Shrine Festival, a new large and small mikoshi and a lion head were made by the clean goods of each town council. Decided.

Ordered by Gyotoku Goto Naomitsu Shinshishishi, June 13, evening palace day was a good day, and 150 volunteers and 150 people in Tokyo participated, and the woodworking was lively and a ceremony was held in accordance with the old ceremony. Was.

Even now and in the past, the desire to create a good city has not changed, and the thoughts of 41 town council landowners have been 15 years since the plan, and on October 31, 2016, "Kyobashi Edgran" Has been completed.

With the revitalization of the city, Kyobashi 2-chome Nishimachi-kai portable shrine and the lion head are displayed at Kyobashi Edgran as a base for the hearts of the townspeople and preserved carefully.

I'd like to see the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station.

Visitors to the reproduction model area can go to the green cone.

In the foreground to the side of the stage.

Before and after the regeneration model area, people who participate in the walking guided tour can walk with the guide.

From the entrance of Shimbashi to the exit of Shinkyobashi, it seems that you walked the KK line with a total length of about 2 km.

(For the walking route of the walking guided tour, see the second image of the first part.)
