Let's learn about the history of the Kyobashi area
There was an explanation of the place name Kyobashi.
"Kyobashi is a ward that existed in Tokyo City, Tokyo from Meiji 11 (1878) to Showa 22 (1947). It is located in the southern part of the current Chuo-ku in the area centered on "Kyobashi Ward". "
Indeed, in the Edo period, the name of the bridge was "Kyobashi", but it was not named by the place name or ward name.
Explanation of portable shrine decoration

At Kyobashi Edgran, portable shrine is looking forward to seeing the Sanno Festival.
On the first floor of Kyobashi Edgran, next to the florist, the portable shrine of "Kyo Ninishi" is shown in permanent exhibition.
