The Ginza Rule

In order to coexist with history and culture and state-of-the-art city functions well, there are rules for town planning based on the characteristics of the district and the “likeness”.

What is known as the Ginza rule is the height limit of a 56m building. Ginza as a whole is harmonized, and one of the attractions is the open feeling where you can see the blue sky wide when you look up at the sky.

The first application of this "Ginza Rule" is the Tokyo Ginza Shiseido Building, designed by Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill. The Greeneville and Chanel Ginza Building were also built at the same time, so the height is 56m.
