You can see "stumps" on the Metropolitan Expressway (Part 2).
In the post on August 12, 2023, "You can see the stumps on the Metropolitan Expressway", the piers (pillars supporting the bridge) removed with the abolition of the entrance to Edobashi in the Metropolitan Expressway look like "stumps". I wrote the content.
The water level of the Nihonbashi River is affected by the sea tide level. When the tide is low, the "stump" appears on the surface of the water, but when the tide is high, it sinks below the surface. If this is below the surface of the water, it will be an accident if the boat passes here without knowing it. For this reason, an orange buoy (buoy) is installed to inform you that there is an obstacle below the surface of the water. It can be seen just upstream of Edobashi over the Nihonbashi River (west side of the bridge).
