Then...

⑦ Kiyosubashi Bridge
(Interview image)
(passing 17:35 from departure)

It is Kiyosu Bridge, the seventh of nine bridges in the Sumida River Chuo-ku.

There was no caution to take a low posture, but there was an announcement saying, "Please do not reach out."

Kiyosu Bridge

(1-chome, Kiyosumi, Higashi-ku, Nihonbashi, Nihonbashi)

The bridge was planned along with Eitai Bridge as a reconstruction project after the Great Kanto Earthquake, and was completed in 1928.

The design is modeled on a suspension bridge (not existing) in Cologne, Germany.

It is a bridge with an elegant shape that flows to the Eitai Bridge.

The name "Kiyosu" was derived from the connection between Nakasucho, Nihonbashi-ku and Kiyozumi-cho, Fukagawa-ku, which were located on both banks at the time of construction.

In June 2007 (2007), it was designated as a national important cultural property after being evaluated as "a suspension bridge representing the early Showa era with cutting-edge technology at that time."

・・・ Kiyosu Bridge is at Kiyozumi's "Kiyo" and Nakasu's "Su".

Right bank, not Chuo-ku, Tokiwa 1-chome, Koto-ku.

Basho abandoned his master's life until Enpo 8 (1680) and moved from Edo Nihonbashi (*) to Soan in Fukagawa.

Based in this hermitage, he developed a new haikai activity, leaving many famous phrases and travelogues such as Okuno Hosomichi.

This hermitage was called "Basho-an" because of the overgrown Basho's strains given by the monks, and was taken in and preserved in Samurai residence after Basho's death, but disappeared from late Tokugawa shogunate to Meiji.

After the storm surge of the typhoon in September 1917, "Basho's beloved Stone Frog" (den) was excavated from Tokiwa 1-chome, and in 2010, Tokyo Prefecture designated this land as "Basho Okina" Ruins ".

To honor the achievements of Matsuo Basho, Koto-ku opened the Basho Memorial Hall on April 19, 1981, and the Sumida River and Onagi River on April 6, 1995.

This museum displays materials related to Basho and haiku literature donated by Giju Manabe, etc., and provides a place for literary activities.

※ The place where I lived until 1680 was actually Odawara-cho, the current Nihonbashi Muromachi 1-chome.

I've written an article before.

⇒ March 9, 2019 “In front of the store, stone monument derived from Matsuo Basho – Funasa Nihonbashi”

Currently, it is not in front of Funasa's store.

There is also a monument of Matsuo Basho at Kameshima Bridge in Hatchobori, Chuo-ku.

It is Shinohashi, the eighth of nine bridges in the Sumida River Chuo-ku.

Shinohashi

(Nihonbashihamacho 2-3-chome - Shin-Ohashi 1-chome, Koto-ku)

ー "Human Helping Bridge" that saved many lives during the earthquake

Shin-ohashi Bridge, which was a wooden bridge since it was built in Genroku 6 (1693), was replaced by a steel bridge in 1911.

In the Great Kanto Earthquake that occurred in 1923 in 1923, it was also called a "human-help bridge" because it escaped damage caused by falling bridges and fires and saved many lives in Hashigami.

There is an "Earthquake Evacuation Monument" standing in Hashizume in the northwest.

The current bridge was completed in 1977.

It is a form of a two-way continuous diagonal bridge.

Shaping bridge is a bridge that is connected by cable.

The length is 170.0m and the width is 24.0m.

It was a very difficult-to-understand image, but there is no doubt on the left bank, near Hamacho Park.

Hamacho Park

(2-59, Nihonbashihama-cho)

-Municipal park with playground equipment open space and physical education facilities

It is the largest park in the city.

It was set up as one of the earthquake disaster reconstruction parks.

There are physical education facilities such as a general sports center and Hamacho playground in the park, which is a base for inhabitants of the ward to exercise.

The undulating lawn spreads out in the playground equipment square on the south side, and children are playing on holidays and other days.

・・・ The left bank is a little more in Chuo-ku, but the right bank has changed from Koto-ku to Sumida-ku.

Sumida River Terrace
(Bottom of the left bank Kachidokibashi ~ [Departure 6:08 ~])
(Under the right bank Tsukiji Ohashi-[Departure 4:21-])

It was a very late explanation.

It was visible from Tsukiji Ohashi at the beginning of the first series, but it missed the opportunity to guide you.

However, as for rosmari, this Hamacho Park side was the most familiar point, so I think that it is the correct answer to pull so far.

Walking here or looking at the waterside, it was the best point to make you feel like that, even if you don't like anything, it will be lighter by about 3 grams.

About Sumida River Terrace

The Sumida River Terrace is a place where the revetment foundation that reinforces the dike has been opened as a hydrophilic facility.

At present, the Sumida River Terrace is maintained in a section of about 32 km out of about 47 km on both banks of the Sumida River, and is used by many people as a valuable waterside space in the city center.

It's not a bridge that people walk across, it's the Metropolitan Expressway No. 6 Mukojima Line.

After crossing this bridge, there is a "button museum" on the left bank. It's a button on my clothes.

The "Chuo-ku Marugoto Museum" held on November 5 and the free patrol bus volunteer guide there are also points to guide you to the view of the Sky Tree around this left bank.

This is a cruise ship of Tokyo Tourism Steamship. "Emeraldas."

It's a futuristic form. The three ships, "Emeraldas", "Hotalna" and "Himiko", are similar.

It seems to be designed by Reiji Matsumoto of "Galaxy Railroad 999".

I went down the Sumida River.

It is also "Ryoma" of Tokyo Tourism Steamship.

The ship name seems to be from Sakamoto Ryoma. It has a retro feeling compared to other ships.

This also went down the Sumida River.
