Juzaburo Tsutaya, "Berabo" and Edo words
NHK Taiga drama series "Berabo-Eikano Yume Story" has started. Juzaburo Tsutaya, who was famous as a publishing producer in the Edo period, what kind of appearance was it? The picture above is a picture that is often used as a portrait of Tsutashige, and appears as a printer in the preface of Kyoden Santo's yellow cover "Hakoiri Musume's Mermaid" and states his mouth. Under the title of "serious mouth", Tsutashige sits straight and holds his hand.
