Educational institutions in Chuo-ku
The history of Tokiwa Elementary School was opened in 1873 in 1873 as the fourth school in the first university ward first junior high school district. Land and buildings were also donated by donations from people in the Nihonbashi area, which had been a commercial center since the Edo period.

Hisamatsu Kindergarten moved to Tokiwa Kindergarten in September 2024.
