  Ginza Gaslight Street ~

This is a monument of gas lamps.

As I mentioned in the first part, the curtain depicts the letters "Welcome to Ginza 2-chome Ginza Gaslight Street" and mountains, trees, buildings and animals.

When it is 3-chome, the place of "2-chome" is "3-chome".

The monument of the gas lamps at 1-chome clearly states "Ginza Gas lamps street 1-chome".

Ginza 1-6-8, Ginza Itary-tei.

It is an Italian restaurant that opened here in Ginza in 1953 and 1953.

"I want to create an Italian restaurant that is a little inconspicuous but can be lined up every day like in the back town of Rome," ...

It happened to happen, but it's just an image of the last customer in the row was invited.

You can see the place where male customers enter.

I usually have a line.

According to rumors, the amount of pasta is increasing.

Kanze Jinmichi (Kanzejinmichi)

In the Edo period, this "Ginza Gas Lantern Street" was called the "Kanze Shindo".

At that time, the residences of Yotsuya in Noh's Kinparu, Kanze, Hosho, and Kongo were all located in the current Chuo-ku.

It seems that the house of Kanze-style was on this street.

That's why it came to be called "Kanze Shindo".

As I explained in the article on January 14, 2021, "Kanze Shindo" will appear in the Edo classic rakugo "Abumatsu".

Rakugo "Abumatsu" is a story of the sumo wrestler Abumatsu's success, but "Kanze Shindo" was the room of Takekuma Bunemon, the first teacher of Abumatsu.

There it was introduced as "Kyobashi's Kanze Shindo", but before the place name "Ginza" occurred, it was said that this was part of Kyobashi, so it was such an explanation.

Finally, it's a stopover.

Like the Kanze Shindo, there is also a street called "Kinharu-dori" in Ginza.

The article on April 23 "How far is Ginza"? Let's go around Ginza! ④ -Ginza willow Monument, Kinharu Yashiki Ruins ~ ", but ...

The upper two images, the upper part is "Kinharu Street", and the lower part is "Kinharu Yashiki Ruins".

The monument of the ruins of Kinharu Yashiki is located at Ginza 8-7-11 on Kinharu Street.

The ruins of Kinharu Yashiki

Noh was developed with the encouragement of the Ashikaga Shogunate in the Muromachi period, and was greatly prospered under the protection of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, an enthusiastic enthusiast during the Azuchi-Momoyama period.

In particular, the Kinharu family was given the strong protection of Hideyoshi and was called the leader of Noh.

Edo shogunate also protected Noh by following Hideyoshi's policy, and designated the four seats of Kinharu, Kanze, Hosho and Kongo as Shikigaku, which is deeply involved in the ceremony of the Shogunate.

According to Kokkamanyoki, which describes the situation in Edo City around Genroku 5 (1693), Kinharu Tayu is Sannoucho (Sanuchi: current Ginza 8-chome), Kanze Tayu is Yumicho (Yumicho: current Ginza 2-chome), Hosho Tayu is Ogamachi * (Ogacho: current Ginza 1-chome, Kyobashi) and current Kyobashi.

It is said that the Kinharu family worshiped the mansion in Kaei 4 (1627), and the name of `` Shichiro Kinharu '' can be confirmed in the Kanei era Edo map `` Edo Shozu, Bushu Toshima-gun '' It is shown around Ginza 8-chome 6, 7, and 8.

Later, the mansion moved to Kojimachi (now Chiyoda-ku), but geisha gathered on the site and developed as a flower district.

Kinharu's name is "Kinharuyu" and "Kinharu Street", and it still remains here.

※ In Ogamachi, there was a residence where ukiyo-e artist Hiroshige Utagawa spent about 10 years from later Kaei 2 (1849) to his death.

I took a picture of Ginza Gaslight Street from 1-chome to 4-chome on the Ginza Sakura-dori St. side.

Ginza Gaslight Street may be "Ginza that doesn't look like Ginza", but for Rosemari, I want to claim "Here Ginza".

Ginza Gaslight Street is a street that runs diagonally in the center. It is shown by a turquoise-colored line.

In the previous part, we climbed the turquoise right from Harumi-dori St. side at the lower left to half of the line, but this time we walked from the center of the line to the point where we reached Ginza Sakura-dori St. in the upper right.
