[Taste of Chuo-ku, extra edition] The secret of rice that is delicious even when cooled, Tokyo Kyobashiya Curry
Hello everyone. She doesn't like curry more than three meals.
One year has passed since the "new lifestyle" (*) was proposed. I feel that the number of restaurants that offer takeout and delivery has increased even every day I just commute, probably because I just think about eating regularly. ※This is a link to the Government Public Relations Online.
Today, I would like to tell you about the 2021 edition of Tokyo Kyobashiya Curry, which has been operating as a take-out specialty store since before COVID-19, with spots other than Chuo-ku.
It's a wasteful curry to finish eating
Tokyo Kyobashiya Curry, which celebrated its 15th anniversary this year, is an additive-free, gluten-free original spice curry shop. The store at Kyobashi 3-chome is located very close to the monument at the site of the Kyobashi Daikon Riverside Vegetable Market. In addition to taking out at the store, we also deliver at Uber Eats. Last year, we reported on the situation when we ordered frozen curry by mail order.
[Taste of Chuo-ku] "Tokyo Kyobashiya Curry" (July 2020) ordered special spices curry.
Frozen curry can now be purchased from GOOD EAT CLUB (Good Eat Club), an EC site that supports various smartphone payments, in addition to mail-order sales and eating log malls.
GOOD EAT CLUB is a food market and fan club where Tabebito (eaters) from all over the country recommends specialty dishes and shops with plenty of affection. This site has a special feature about curry that Naoki Matayoshi, a member of Yoshimoto Kogyo, loves, and described Kyobashiya curry as "wasteful to finish eating." Such a fierce prize by the Akutagawa Prize-winning authors is a nice point (*) as a Chuo-ku fan. Combined with the increase in the options for purchase routes, it seems to attract more and more attention.
※Ryunosuke Akutagawa was born in Kyobashi-ku, Tokyo in 1892. It is known that the Akutagawa Ryunosuke Award, along with the Naoki 35th Prize, is held every year at a restaurant in Tsukiji 4-chome, Shinkiraku.
From the village to the town hall (Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku)
Murakaramachikarakan, located in Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan in Yurakucho, is an antenna shop that deals with local specialties from all over the country. Although it is not a store in Chuo-ku, this is the only brick-and-mortar store that sells Kyobashi-ya brand products other than Kyobashi-ya curry.
Yurakucho is next to Ginza, and the Murakaramachi-kan is open all year round except for the year-end and New Year holidays, so it is very convenient to get curry from Kyobashi-ya.

756 yen (tax included)
The handling is a trial size of frozen curry (Murakaramachi tokan limited product) and a special curry powder. We call it a trial size, but there is enough to match the rice for one meal. The package is "Home Cody As Range Storage Container", which is familiar with mail order sales. It's an excellent thing that can be reused after eating.
Different United States, specialty rice specialty store Suznobu (Nakane, Meguro-ku)
Kyobashi-ya curry, which carefully selects ingredients from all over the country, is not only delicious in curry, but also the taste of rice is exceptional. Because it accounts for half of curry rice, rice is also selected as an important ingredient.
When restoring frozen curry at home, I would like to combine the same rice as Kyobashi-ya curry. I went to Metropolitan University Station in Meguro-ku in search of the rice.
Suzunob, a specialty rice specialty store in the United States, is a very famous shop in the world of rice, and many people know that the president's five-star rice meister, Toyozo Nishijima, is active on TV and magazines. Maybe. It was one of the shops I wanted to visit, so it was nice to be able to visit curry.
Toyozo Nishijima is introduced as a basic ingredient along with spices, sea salt, and rice oil on the Kyobashiya Curry website. It's a tasty smile.
There are a lot of special rice in the store. This is the one that was chosen as the rice of Kyobashi-ya curry.
Rice that does not lose its shape and enhances the spices and herbs of Kyobashi-ya curry with a well-balanced taste. In addition, it is said that Nanatsuboshi does not lose its taste even when it cools down. The characteristic that it is delicious even when cooled is perfect for take-out specialty stores. It is also recommended for rice balls, lunch boxes, and sushi rice.
That said, of course, it was freshly cooked when I had it at home, so it was already delicious anyway. It doesn't mean that the taste of rice is delicately expressed or the tongue is so fertile that you can make a good rice, but by using the same rice, you may have been able to get closer to the taste of Kyobashiya curry. Do you? I was very satisfied.
Post-meal comments
This is a photo of the curry taken out at Kyobashi-ya curry. Nanatsuboshi's rice dared to eat it without warming it again. Since the flavor is not reduced, there is no wabi that tends to sneak in cold rice at all.
Curry
Chicken, cabbage and shrimp curry. Considering that you can get dry Date chicken and excellent keema at the museum from Murakaramachi, it is a favorite menu that you always choose when taking out at the store.
Keyma
It is the only curry that has been around since its opening, and it is a signature menu of Kyobashiya curry that you want to try this first.
I've told you about the deliciousness of Kyobashiya curry several times so far, so this report featured a commitment to rice.
When I got freshly milled rice with a tinkob, I was surprised at the warmth. I felt again that choosing and buying rice at a rice shop was fun and good. I would like to continue to encounter many delicious experiences through famous stores in Chuo-ku.
