Willow in Ginza
In the early Showa era, willows were planted in Ginza as part of the earthquake reconstruction project.
Wakagi, brought from Shinshu Azumino, grew quickly and brilliantly, shines beautifully in the cityscape of Ginza, and has become more attached to singing songs.
However, due to the earthquake and recent road maintenance, the appearance has disappeared, and now there is no way to remember the past.
In Chuo-ku, willows are enacted as "trees of the ward" and planted in various places in the ward. This time, thanks to the courtesy of Hodaka-cho, Nagano Prefecture, we donated willows from the Azumino region as at that time .
Therefore, we plan to plant this area in hope of reproduction of beautiful green Ginza.

Located on Ginza 8-3-7, Sotobori-dori St., this building was completed in 1967 and is known for its design by Kenzo Tange.
Kenzo Tange is also involved in the design of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the Yoyogi Daiichi Gymnasium, the Cathedral of St. Mary's Cathedral in Tokyo, the FCG Building (the so-called Fuji TV headquarters), and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
This characteristic appearance is said to be a masterpiece of Metapolism (metabolism).

Shizuoka Shimbun/Shizuoka Hoso Tokyo branch office building turns from the left side.
"Colido" means "corridor" in French.
Corridor Street was taken from Ginza Corridor Street, located under a highway completed by reclaiming the outer moat in 1956.
"Ginza Corridor Street" is said to have been named because it looks like a corridor on the west side of Ginza.
Although it is a restaurant area under the overpass, there are a lot of exotic restaurants, quaint izakayas, and famous restaurants.
※ I referred to Yo-chan's "Road Nickname in Ginza".
The "Tokyo Kosoku Doro (KK Line)" runs over Ginza Corridor Street.
A plan is underway to regenerate it as "Tokyo Sky Corridor".

It is located in the center of Ginza Corridor Street.
It seems that many people were trying to escape from the Ginza side to Hibiya Park in the Great Kanto Earthquake of September 1, 1923.
However, many people who were unable to escape and lost their place were sacrificed.
Based on this reflection, in September 1929, a bridge built over the outer moat with private funds and donations from companies by local volunteers, such as Hisataro Fujihira, "Shinkobashi". ".
After the opening ceremony, the bridge was donated to Tokyo City at that time.
The contents of this area are engraved on this monument with the word "Shinkobashi".
Due to the reclaim of the outer moat, it seems that "Shinkobashi" has disappeared in 1956.
The bridge in the immediate vicinity is Sukiyabashi.
(It's not the next one, but the next bridge. There was a bridge called Yamashita Bridge in between. By the way, the end of Shinkobashi is "Tsuchihashi". Please see the image of the three pages of the previous Shizuoka Shimbun/Shizuoka Hoso Tokyo branch office building. "Dobashi" is written on the traffic light at the intersection. )
Sukiyabashi is the stage of "Your name is" famous for NHK radio dramas, novels, movies, NHK serial TV novels, etc.
Machiko and Haruki met on the bridge of Sukiyabashi on the night of March 10, 1945 after the Great Tokyo Air Raid.
A very frustrating drama that continues to miss the chance of reunion at Sukiyabashi every six months.
"Your name" is a long after the bridge of Shinkobashi, and fiction, but a story that is at the mercy of a strange fate.
Was it associated with a bridge named "fortunately" with prayers?
※ "Sukiyabashi Park" and "Your Name" will be mentioned a little in the 7th series of this series.

The black diamond figure = "Ginza's Yanagi Shisei", the blue gray square = "Shizuoka Shimbun / Shizuoka Hoso Tokyo Branch Building", and the brown star = "Shinkobashi" are the same as the previous figure.

The tip and upper part of the straight line will be the next "Ginza Corridor Street (Part 2)".
